Industrial Quality Installer Drill Bits - Wire Installation

The term - BELL HANGER BIT - originated with their use to install door bells and bell telephone wiring systems in wood frame structures. Current
applications require the expansion of the line to install Security, Fire Alarm Systems, TV, Audio Visual, Computer, Airport and Boat Wiring Systems
along with a vast array of additional low voltage and electrical installations requiring the drilling of a hole and pulling or fishing wire thru.

Why are so many styles and types required by installers?

Installers encounter the need to drill holes and pull wire through a variety of materials and combinations of wood, cement block, concrete,
metals, plastics, etc. In addition, Installers may require both straight thru drilling and wire pulling with a RIGID Bit as well as applications
requiring a FLEXIBLE Bit to product a curved path wire installation. It is not uncommon to require several styles when encountering
having to drill and pull wire thru an unexpected combination of wood concrete metal or steel plate requiring a HSS type drill bit
or other combinations requiring several bit types to complete the installation. Thus, a installer usually maintains a variety of Bit styles to meet the task.

Several of the B & A Installation bits are specifically designed and produced for general purpose drilling in a variety of composites in order to reduce
the variety normally necessary for installers when only encountering simple drilling and pulling jobs.

INSTALLATION TOOLS

FW Series - FLEXIBLE SHAFT DRILL BITS - SELF FEEDING WOOD

	Designed with the installer in mind, the Flexible Shaft Self Feeding Drill Bit penetrates wood effortlessly - fast, clean and smooth. The Flexible Shaft Self Feeding Drill Bit features a double fluted reduced taper auger head with a self feeding lead screw point, pull holes, and a special 3/16" flexible shaft. The shaft is designed with flex memory retention and maximum torque translation.
FG Series - FLEXIBLE SHAFT DRILL BITS - GENERAL DUTY - CARBON ALLOY
	The Flexible Shaft Non-Self Feeding Drill Bit penetrates dry wall, wall board, wood paneling, wood framing, and plaster. The Flexible Shaft Non-Self Feeding Drill Bit features a double fluted slow sprial reduced taper masonry head, pull holes, and a special 3/16" flexible shaft. The shaft is designed with flex memory retention and maximum torque translation.
FH Series - FLEXIBLE SHAFT DRILL BITS - HIGH SPEED STEEL
	The Flexible Shaft Non-Self Feeding Drill Bit penetrates sheet metal, nails, aluminum, steel plate, wood & other composites. The shaft is designed with flex memory retention and maximum torque translation.
FM Series - FLEXIBLE SHAFT DRILL BITS - MASONRY
	The Carbide-Tipped Flexible Shaft Masonry Drill Bit will penetrate dry wall , wall board, concrete, stucco, and plaster. The Flexible Shaft Masonry Drill Bit features double fluted slow spiral, reduce taper head, made from carbon steel, carbide tipped, pull holes in head and shaft, and the shaft is constructed from a special 3/16" memories retention steel.
SFM Series - STIFF-FLEX SHAFT DRILL BITS - MASONRY
	The Stiff Flex Masonry Drill Bit is preferred when straight alignment between the drill chuck and cutting point is desired. The stiffer shaft allows for extra torque transmission from the power tool to the cutting point.

BH Series - CARBIDE TIPPED BELL HANGER DRILL BITS
	The Carbide Tipped Bell Hanger is designed for making holes and fishing wire through these holes for all electrical, telephone, security-alarm, structured wiring systems or any small wire installations. A hole is provided in the flute for connecting the wire to the drill bit and pulling / fishing the wire through the wall. Flutes are designed for faster, smother, and cleaner holes in all types of material.
HDBH Series - HEAVY DUTY BELL HANGER DRILL BITS
	B & A’s non-carbide Bell hanger drill bits are specifically designed for small wire installation applications. Telephone, security alarm, fire alarm, cable, network installers, electricians, and other professionals all use these unique drill bits to drill holes through walls, studs and other obstacles to fish the small wire back through the drilled hole with ease. HDBH series bits are designed for drilling through wood, plaster or drywall.
HSBH Series - BELL HANGER - HIGH SPEED STEEL- RIGID DRILL BITS
	High Speed steel (HSS) bits are the most commonly used bit for drilling thru metal, aluminum, brass, and hardwoods.
HAC Series - AIRCRAFT EXTENSION BIT
	Aircraft extension drill bits are manufactured from high speed steel with split points that resist "walking" or "wondering". Designed for drilling through materials less that 4" thick. Extension drill bits are used in areas where extra reach is important.
WSM Series - CARBIDE TIPPED WINDOWS SILL AND DOOR FRAME BIT
	These bits are designed to get into those tight spots where other bits just will not fit. Designed with an ultra sharp carbide tip that will penetrate through door jams or window frames without splitting the wood, aluminum, or vinyl. 12” and 18” lengths available. It is the right size to get into those tight spaces where a larger hole is not an option or where a small hole is critical.
TH Series - SDS PLUS ® DRILL BITS - Concrete Anchor Screw Drill Bits
	Concrete Screw Bits are used to pre drill hole used for self tapping concrete anchors and are specifically designed for use with TAPCON ®™ concrete screw anchors. Constructed of hardened alloy steel with a close tolerance carbide tip, it is available in SDS PLUS ® 5/16" Hex Combo Shank.
TG Series - TANG STYLE DRILL BITS - Concrete Anchor Screw Drill Bits
	B & A’s Tang Style TAPCON ® Bits are designed for use with TAPCON ® style anchoring system that uses a masonry anchor screw with a self tapping thread. Constructed of hardened alloy steel, an ANSI tolerance carbide tip, and a Tang Shank, for long life and superior performance.
SM Series - CARBIDE TIPPED MASONRY DRILL BITS
	Our most popular series of masonry drill bit! The specially designed, slow spiral flute gives this drill bit exceptional strength and rapid debris removal. Manufactured from high strength alloy steel that allows for limited flexing. This proven design allows these installer bits to provide a long life at a reasonable cost.
FSD Series - FAST SPIRAL CARBIDE TIPPED MASONRY DRILL BITS
	The fast spiral design, combines a special carbide tip and tough steel alloy body allowing it to drill quickly and cleanly using a standard rotary drill motor. This flute design allows for less heat buildup providing the longest bit life possible.
HSJ Series - HIGH SPEED STEEL - METAL CUTTING
	Most commonly used type of industrial drill. Usable with portable and machine tools. Performs general purpose drilling. Typically 135° point for hard steels. 118° point for soft, medium metals.
SB Series - HIGH SPEED STEEL - SPADE DRILL BITS
	Spade Bits, also known as paddle bits, are used for rough boring in wood. The cutters are equipped with spurs in an attempt to ensure a cleaner hole. Having small shank diameters relative to their boring diameters, spade bits shanks often have flats to prevent slipping in drill chucks. They are intended for use with electric hand drills. The Spade Bit is used when the installer needs to cut fast clean holes. It has two cutting spurs which scribe the hole to reduce "Break-out". It is commonly used by carpenters, electricians and plumbers.
