The SDS MAX ®™ heavy duty slot drive system maximizes the performance of any rotary hammer that is designed for use with an SDS MAX ®™ drive system. Three positive drive slots and two ball retainer slots are incorporated into the SDS MAX ® shank design allowing a SDS MAX ®™ hammer to drill large diameter holes with ease.

Round Shank hammer drill bits are designed for use in hard hitting hammer drills that utilize a 3-jawed, Jacob’s type chuck. These extra tough bits will give outstanding performance in the roughest drilling applications. The heat-treated and surface hardened alloy body, coupled with an extra tough percussion carbide tip, will stay sharper longer. The Rotary Chuck Driver™ incorporates a versatile shank system that features a heavy duty keyless chuck.

REBAR CUTTER

The B & A Rebar Cutter is an easy method for drilling through embedded rebar and the surrounding concrete. The B & A Rebar Cutter can be used in a 1/2" drill motor equipped with a 3-Jawed Chuck or directly in the hammer motor utilizing the B & A Rotary Chuck Driver™ adapter. The B & A Rebar Cutter can be used in any 1/2" capacity or larger drill motor equipped with a three jaw chuck and a rated no-load speed of 400 R. P. M. to 1,200 R. P. M. This includes most combination hammer drills, but when using a combination hammer drill the selector switch must be in the rotary only position! The B & A Rebar Cutter can be used in a Spline Drive Hammer, a SDS MAX ®™ Hammer, or a SDS PLUS ®™ Hammer by utilizing the B & A Rotary Chuck Driver™.

Rotary Core Bits are used in standard rotary drill motors.  The Rotary Core Bit provides an extremely smooth cutting action and  a clean finished hole.  Because of the negative setting of the carbide cutting teeth, the RC Series can cut through the toughest and hardest of aggregate in any type of concrete.

The Carbide Tipped Bell Hanger is designed for making holes and fishing wire through these holes for all electrical, telephone, security-alarm, structured wiring systems or any small wire installations. A hole is provided in the flute for connecting the wire to the drill bit and pulling / fishing the wire through the wall. Flutes are designed for faster, smother, and cleaner holes in all types of material.

B & A’s non-carbide Bell hanger drill bits are specifically designed for small wire installation applications. Telephone, security alarm, fire alarm, cable, network installers, electricians, and other professionals all use these unique drill bits to drill holes through walls, studs and other obstacles to fish the small wire back through the drilled hole with ease. HDBH series bits are designed for drilling through wood, plaster or drywall.

FAST SPIRAL MASONRY DRILL BIT

The fast spiral design, combines a special carbide tip and tough steel alloy body allowing it to drill quickly and cleanly using a standard rotary drill motor. This flute design allows for less heat buildup providing the longest bit life possible.

B & A’s most popular masonry drill bit series has a special slow spiral flute that gives exceptional strength with rapid debris removal. Combined with a special carbide tip, this bit provides long bit life at a reasonable cost.

The Carpet Stubby drill bit will drill concrete, wood, or even terrazzo flooring. The drilled hole allows the installer to place a nail through the carpet tack strip into the floor underneath. This combination of the proper nail size and correct diameter hole prevents carpet strip pullout.
