B & A Manufacturing Company provides Forged Tool and carbide
tipped drill bit repair, tipping, and sharpening services. We not
only repair our own forged tools and carbide tipped drill bits, but
those made by other manufacturers as well at a fraction of the cost of
new ones! So don't throw away those expensive carbide tipped drill
bits, collect them up and send them to us and let us recondition them! |

PERCUSSION
CORE |
|

|
B&A Hammer Core Bits are designed for heavy
duty rotary hammers. The special carbide tips used are intended for
continuous hammering action and are combined with extra tough alloy
steel bodies to give maximum performance under the most demanding
use. |
|
ROTARY CORE |
|

|
Rotary Core Bits are used
in standard rotary drill motors. The Rotary Core Bit provides an
extremely smooth cutting action and a clean finished hole.
Because of the negative setting of the carbide cutting teeth, the RC
Series can cut through the toughest and hardest of aggregate in any type
of concrete. |
|
REBAR CUTTER |
|

|
The B & A Rebar Cutter is an easy method for
drilling through embedded rebar and the surrounding concrete. The B
& A Rebar Cutter can be used in a 1/2" drill motor equipped with a
3-Jawed Chuck or directly in the hammer motor utilizing the B & A
Rotary Chuck Driver™ adapter. The B & A Rebar Cutter can be used in
any 1/2" capacity or larger drill motor equipped with a three jaw
chuck and a rated no-load speed of 400 R. P. M. to 1,200 R. P. M. This
includes most combination hammer drills, but when using a
combination hammer drill the selector switch must be in the rotary
only position! The B & A Rebar Cutter can be used in a Spline Drive
Hammer, a SDS MAX ®™ Hammer, or a SDS PLUS ®™ Hammer by utilizing the B
& A Rotary Chuck Driver™. |
|
SDS PLUS ® |

 |
The
versatile Slot Drive System (SDS PLUS ®™) fits all rotary hammers that
specify a SDS PLUS ®™ Shank. This positive drive slot system delivers
maximum drilling torque and maximum hammer energy for faster drilling. B
& A has combined the "Ultra Flute" and the SDS PLUS ®™ shank to achieve a
union that makes our SR Series the fastest drilling carbide-tipped
hammer bit of its type! |
|
SDS MAX ® |

 |
The SDS MAX ®™ heavy duty slot drive system maximizes
the performance of any rotary hammer that is designed for
use with an SDS MAX ®™ drive system. Three positive drive
slots and two ball retainer slots are incorporated into
the SDS MAX ® shank design allowing a SDS MAX ®™ hammer to
drill large diameter holes with ease.

|
SPLINE |
 |
Designed and produced for spline-drive
hammers, RS Series Spline-Drive bits are held to exacting
tolerances to assure perfect fit as well as maximum impact
and torque transmission. B&A Spline Drive
rotary/percussion bits are the best available and are
designed with maximum strength in order to provide maximum
life. |
|
STRAIGHT SHANK |
 |
Round Shank hammer drill bits are designed for use in hard
hitting hammer drills that utilize a 3-jawed, Jacob’s type
chuck. These extra tough bits will give outstanding
performance in the roughest drilling applications. The
heat-treated and surface hardened alloy body, coupled with
an extra tough percussion carbide tip, will stay sharper
longer. The design allows for easy re-sharpening to extend
the life of the bit. |
|
PERCUSSION A & B TAPER BITS |
 |
B & A Manufacturing's Taper drill bits are
made to fit our high quality adapters. The smaller "A" taper shanks
are intended for bit diameters from 3/16" to 7/8". "B" taper shanks
are most effective in large capacity rotary percussion hammers. They
are available in sizes from 7/16" to 1-1/8" diameters. B & A Taper
drill bits are made from high grade steel that is heat treated and
tempered for the longest drilling life possible. The asymmetrical
spiral flute, B & A’s "Ultra Flute", allows for efficient dust
removal and cooler operating temperatures. |

RUFFY 2000 |
 |
The RUFFY
2000™ is a general purpose wood boring bit. Designed for use
with hydraulic, electric, or pneumatic driven power tools. The
spear point cutting tip design allows the RUFFY 2000™ to be
used in applications that require a bit that is not
self-feeding such as in a drill press. The 7/16" or 5/8" hex
shank enables the RUFFY 2000™ to be used in power tools that
have a quick change chuck or even a three-jaw chuck. The RUFFY
2000™ will out last ordinary non-carbide tipped drill bits in
almost any application. The RUFFY 2000™ will drill through
nail embedded wood construction without damage to the cutting
tip. CCA or creosote power poles with nails or metal objects
embedded in them are not a problem for the RUFFY 2000™. B & A
Manufacturing Company’s carbide-tipped wood boring bits can be
sharpened or completely rebuilt when necessary. B & A
Manufacturing Company offers complete factory re-sharpening or
rebuilding services for carbide-tipped bits. |
