Application Rods - Treating Rods
are designed for the application of chemicals between layers of
construction materials or used in the application of chemical during
construction. These Specialty Tools - Chemical Application Rods -
Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods are mostly used by exterminators who must spray pesticides under concrete, wood,
and other flooring materials to eliminate or protect from termites and other unwanted pests.
WARNING USE
CHEMICALS IN ACCORDANCE Using a carbide tipped masonry drill bit, a hole is drilled through the concrete foundation slab into the compacted soil under the building being treat. Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods, attached to a chemical sprayers, are then inserted through the hole and into the soil. The chemical treatment is then pumped through the hollow Specialty Tools - Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods and applied to the soil under the foundation of the building. After the treatment is completed the Specialty Tools - Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods are extracted from the hole and soil bellow the sub-flooring. The hole is then plugged and extermination treating rods clean and stowed. When treating voids between walls and between floors a Bellhanger is frequently used to drill into these voids and threw any obstruction in the way. The Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods are inserted through the wall into the void where the chemical treatments are applied. Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods come in two basic styles, end opening - used to shoot chemical down long void or over long distances (For a single solid straight stream) The side opening Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods are used for applying chemical in a radial pattern good for applications in small voids or soak soil under a building. Both styles come in varying lengths and diameters to help you match up the correct treating rod for the application. Made with a 1/4” NPT threaded coupling, Chemical Application Rods - Exterminating Tools - Application Rods - Treating Rods will fit any conventional hand-held pressure sprayer. |
