A Hammer Core Pilot is used to make an initial
starting groove and then removed before drilling is continued.
The B&A pilot bit will fit B&A hammer core bodies from 1-1/2"
diameter through 6" diameter - the pilot will not fit 1¼" diameter
or smaller core bodies.
